https://www.churchpublishing.org/products/voicesfound2 Voices Found #4 Mary heard the angel's message Mary heard the angel's message: "Greetings, Mary, favored one. Do not fear, for God is with you; you will one day bear God's son." Filled with questions, filled with wonder, she proclaimed her faith in God: "May it be as you have spoken; I'm the servant of the Lord!" When she heard her cousin's greeting, Mary's heart was filled with joy, so she sang of God's great blessing promised in her baby boy: "God has looked on me with favor, so I sing this song of praise. God has worked, the proud to scatter; humble hungry ones to raise." Mary heard the shepherds' story, words she treasured with delight. Then an angel gave her warning: "Flee with Jesus in the night!"   Voices Found #50 At break of day At break of day three women came to find where Christ was laid. With myrrh prepared to anoint his corpse, they wept and mourned the dead. But now the stone is rolled away, they worship in full day, then run to take the good news back and share their holy joy O Mary, see your son again, in resurrection joy. Shine, shine Jerusalem, for Christ is risen in majesty. Lift up your eyes, look round and see, rejoicing, strong and free, upper children come to find their home for all eternity. Come celebrate the death of death! Come share eternal life! Come leap and praise the living god who opens paradise! For dawn has come all shining bright, to show salvation's might to break the tomb, burst through the gloom, and flood the world with light. Voices Found #43 At the foot of the cross At the foot of the cross Mary sat weeping and gazing with love at her Lord. He hung there bleeding and suffering and dying. She could not help him. She could not carry him home. Blessed Mary, his mother bore him and rocked him  and bathed him with love for her son.  Saw him in childhood and growing to manhood. She could not help him. She could not carry him home. Now with love in their hearts Mary and John sat together and poured out their grief. "Look, John, your mother" and "Mary, your son, John."   She could not help him. She could not carry him home. When it was finished, Jesus was laid in a tomb wrapped in grave clothes of death. Three long nights after, he left the grave clothes.  She could not help him. She could not carry him home. At the foot of the cross we sit with Mary and worship with love in our hearts. For he has risen and lives with his Father. We only  love him. He lives to carry us home. Words and Music...
