Refrain:
O Mary, don't you weep, don't you mourn, O Mary don't you
weep, don't you mourn; Pharoah's army got drowned,
O Mary, don't you weep,
Some of these mornings bright and fair, take my wings and cleave the air,
Pharoah's army got drowned, O Mary don't you weep.
Refrain
O Mary, don't you weep, don't you mourn, O Mary don't you
weep, don't you mourn; Pharoah's army got drowned,
O Mary, don't you weep,
When I get to heaven goin' to
sing and shout, nobody there for to turn me out.
Pharoah's army got drownded, O Mary don't you weep.
Refrain
O Mary, don't you weep, don't you mourn, O Mary don't you
weep, don't you mourn; Pharoah's army got drowned,
O Mary, don't you weep,
When I get to heaven goin' to
put o my shoes, run about glory and tell all the news.
Pharoah's army got drownded, O Mary don't you weep.
O Mary, don't you weep, don't you mourn, O Mary don't you
weep, don't you mourn; Pharoah's army got drowned,
O Mary, don't you weep,

Genesis 16:10-13
The messenger of the Wellspring of Life said to Hagar, "Greatly will I multiply your seed, so they cannot be counted for multitude." Then the messenger of the Fount of Life said to her,
"Look! You are pregnant and shall give birth to a son,
and you shall call him Ishmael (meaning God hears),...
So Hagar named the Living God who spoke to her, "You are El-roi"; for she said, "have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing God?"
Reflection
I commend to you all our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae, so that you all may receive her in Christ as is worthy of the saints, and stand by her in whatever thing she may need of you, for she has been a benefactress of many, and myself as well.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus...Greet Mary, who has worked much among you all. Greet Andronicus and Julia...
Romans 16:1-3, 6, 8
Meditation: Women of Faith
Women of faith, loving and kind,
gift from the father, bold and free. Sent to the needy,
worship the majesty, Alleluia! Amen.
Weapon of truth, Rehab obeyed,
Led by the spirit, opened wide. Put out the red cord,
sign to deliver, Alleluia! Amen.
Mary perceived, Mary believed.
Jesus alive, in love revealed. Sent to the hearts of
those who believed her. Alleluia! Amen.
Savior of all, now we recall,
"Fear not!" with favor, come to us.
Lord, we believe you,
Lord, we receive you. Alleluia! Amen

Loving God Who Sees Me, thank you for our mothers of truth and faith: for Sarah and Hagar, Miriam and Rehab, Mary and Phoebe. Lead us in your way of Love; and grant us, with Mary Magdalene, boldness and courage to share the Good News of Christ's Resurrection!
