Come and seek the ways of Wisdom,
she who danced when Earth was new.
Follow closely what she teaches,
for her words are right and true.
Wisdom clears the path to justice,
showing us what love must do.

Does not Wisdom call,
and Understanding put forth her voice?
On the highest heights, beside the way,
at the crossroads she takes her stand.
Beside the gates at the entry of the town,
at the opening of the entryway she sings out:
"To you, the woman-born, I call,
and my cry is to all earth's children.

Praise the Living God!
I will give thanks to the One God with my whole heart,
in the assembly of the congregation .
She has declared the strength of her works to her people,
giving them the heritage of the nations.
The works of her hands are truth and justice;
trustworthy are her precepts.
they stand fast forever and ever,
Executed in truth and uprightness.
She sent redemption to her people;
she has ordained her covenant forever.
Holy and awesome is her Name.
Awe of the Ageless God is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who do have understanding.
